Is World of Warcraft a dodgy game like monster hunter where your character moves a lot
..I'm a GW2 and Tera player...how do you compare wow on gw2 action...is wow just a stand and pray mmo
where you just cast skills after skills?and can you dodge arrows from archers?(not the RNG way but physically)or any other ranged attacks...just started wow a while ago...just asking

No, it is not. The newer expansions (WoD, MoP) went in that direction; I suggest you check those out.

Thanks...So this game doesn't need reaction time at all...
And to dodge ranged attacks or magic spells and to hit a target is
controlled by chances from random number generators...guess this game is not
for me...I want games where I have full control of everything...thanks..gonna check out this new expansions..

projectile calculations require a TON of server resources which is why shooter games never have servers with more than 100 players online.
Wow as an mmo with servers way above 2k players would not be able to provide this

Tell Planetside 2 that.

But yeah, as OP described, WOW (even retail) will not suffice for a Tera or GW2 player. Vanilla WOW is more of a slow-paced traditional RPG that's borderline relaxing to play outside of PVP/Raiding (even some raiding). Retail WOW is like a modern RPG with traditional combat.

the official version is pay to play because it ensures fair gameplay by not offering advantages to those who pay

this server is 100% free, not pay to play and neither pay to win.

If you want full control and reaction times, moving out of danger almost 90% of the time, i suggest you try Wildstar. it's just gone free to play. I played it to max level and when i started raiding I was knackered after the first raid because i had to move my mouse so much!! lol
