Another new/old player (and questions)

Hello,

Like many others, I'm an old player (started mid-2006) who grew disillusioned and quit the retail game (just before 6.0) and over the past few weeks I really started missing the old times. So I did some research and came here, rolled on the PvE server just the other day. (switching to horde after 8 years of alliance to experience the other side of the game)

Looks and feels great so far, but I have a few questions:

1. I reached lvl 5 and joined the world channel, but I can't seem to chat (the message just disappears after typing it in), is there another lvl req for chatting in it? (or something else I'm missing)

2. The quest givers appear on the minimap when a quest is ready to hand in...is it supposed to do that? (I can't remember if it did or not, hazy memories)

3. Bagnon (vanilla edition from the addon pack here) keeps giving me lua errors every time I open my bags...is there any vanilla addon I can use to get rid of them? (or at least dump them into a chat window that isn't the main window)

4. Being new to horde, I don't know where the important quest chains start (the ones that lead to instances, plus the big epic ones) - is there any reference site that still has vanilla info?

I have some issue with the chat.

The chat is very limitted for the first 10 levels in the way it prevents you to "spam" the channel. I am unsure what the exact criteria is (10 seconds per chat line? 30 seconds?), but it gets removed once you get higher levels.

It is unfortunately needed to (attempt to) avoid gold sellers.

1. Its there to prevent goldsellers from spamming. You need to be a bit higher level.

3. ImprovedErrorFrame puts them on a minimap icon.
4. You can use www.joanasworld.com/azeroth.htm ; its mostly accurate. However some quest you won't find since they were introduced in 2.0. The biggest gap is in Dustmallow Marsh where alot of quest and the goblin town is missing. You can make this up by doing the 29-30 quest in Hillsbrad, Crown of Will Qline, Stromgarde quest in Arathi, or some dungeon runs.
