Can anyone help me run the game better ?

So i'm running the game at near playable FPS.Is there anything else other than the stuff in the "Maximize Quality And Smoothness" thread(obivously i didn't use the quality commands/stuff) ?i have a really weak laptop from 2006

Theres literally a thread here in the beginning that reads "guide to maximizing performance on old laptop" . its like three threads down..... Please at least look at the first page of the forums and then do a search before asking questions. Follow the inatructions on that thread, get a laptop cooler to keep it cold, and dust out everything in your vents. Also, make sure on your power options its set to high performance (right click little battery in tray)

this one ? viewtopic.php?f=32&t=27135&p=194956&hilit=laptop#p190186 .There's barely any tweaks just a lot of tips,pretty useless for people with integrated gpus(which most of them are) and just normal pc stuff(like coolers which i already own one,ram,anti-virus,bottlenecks,benchmarks).Might be harsh but it's pretty useless to most pc literate people
