So, I have a question for the developers...

Well, multiple questions....

But it really revolves around this. This may have been asked many times and obviously I am too lazy to search, so in that case apologies in advance.

First, thank you for the server. I have always wanted to go back to Vanilla so well done Santa Claus. My issue firstly is why? Other than 'because we can' or 'because we love the game for what it was, not what it is' I don't see why you would do this. How does it pay for itself? What are the economics involved? Do you expect voluntary contributions?

But the most important thing is are you going to be here in 12 months time? Now, no one can guarantee that and I don't expect you too. But before you become another massive gaming time sink for me, just interested in what your perspectives are.

As always though, great respect.

Greetings and welcome to Nostalrius!

As you stated, nobody can give any guarantees about the future. An asteroid could wipe all life off the planet tomorrow. Having said that, Nostalrius was launched on 28th February of this year so we have been going strong for over 10 months now.

The GM team.

Hello Pottu,

Thanks for your welcome and response. Not being picky but you haven't gone into any details as to why this project came about and the reasons/rationale behind it, nor the economics on funding.

If you don't want to answer these questions that's fine as they are from curiosity only.

Agree on asteroid, but reckon more likely to be pandemic or singularity, have a nice day.
