Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I'm having trouble running the game on a mac. I downloaded the game using the OS X client. I unzip the files and click the WoW classic to start the game and the screen turns into a plaid design. Not sure what is going on here. Maybe I installed and opened wrong. A detailed way to properly start playing the game would be great.

People are always running into issues with the OSX client, since the original vanilla 1.12.1 client was designed for windows only. All of my friends who play on a mac use wine or boot from windows and download the windows client to use. That would probably be your best bet for running the game well. Good luck

I'm currently gaming on a mac without any major issues.
Many addons struggle loading and there are a bunch of fun glitches that look weird at times, but no functional errors that keep me from playing so far =)

BTW: Don't expect to see many (or any) of the bugs that people whine about here on the forums or through other channels

I have always play on Mac since the beginning of the retail and never have any problem.

Actually I play with french version of WOW client 1.12.1 and work perfectly.

What problem have you exactly ?
