New Mac Player

Hi all! I'm new here and am super excited to play vanilla WoW again! I only have one question. I downloaded the game to Mac. Clicked the WoW icon. And started playing. It was great and worked wonderfully well. My question: How do I know if I am running the right version of Nostalrius? Is there a patcher just for this server? Are updates pushed to the server automatically and I never have to update my client? Will I have to eventually delete my client and download a newer version as bugs are squashed? I hope my questions make sense. But, basically, I downloaded the game, it started, and worked super well. But when the devs here fix something, how does that get pushed to the Mac client?

Sorry if this is a super newb question.

Thanks.

Hey, if the game is working, it means you have the right client :).

Updates are done server-side, nothing is done to your client, so when new content is released or a bug is fixed, all you'll have to do is wait for the server to restart / recompile or whatever :)

One thing you might have to do that I forgot though, is to clear your cache on a regular basis.
This is the content of your WDB Folder in your game installation folder.

If you don't do it, you'll actually have the change and shit, but might not see them, e.g. you might see an item giving you +X to a stat while it might actually give you +Y.

The server will compute the correct value anyway, it's only visual for you anyway.
