I just registered here and am just in awe at how many people there are online. Are most people in this server American? I'm just excited to be back to where it all began and where I had most of my fond memories.

Hoping to experience some hardcore raiding/pvp if there is such thing anymore.

Majority of the players are chinese and PVP arent really a thing on Nostalrius.

If you want to PVP your best bet is to run around the world looking for people to kill as BGs rarely happen due to lack of instrest.

play on PvE if you want a blizzlike experience

play on PvP if you want an insanely overpopulated (but fun) server

There's plenty of non Chinese pvp, I've been running with premades for weeks and having a blast, though depending on time of day yeah you'll get some Chinese preloaded that are annoying. No shortage of American guild, groups, and pvpers

World PVP still exists from what I'm gauging from your statement? Now that ought to be interesting! Thanks for the heads up. I was really trying to get back to Rank 14. I did this ages ago in retail was hoping to do it again. I just came from Feenix - and the population is dying (however there is a lot of PvP).

Greetings,

the largest group of players are the Europeans, with Chinese as the second largest group and North-Americans as the third.

Both PvP and PvE realms have a multitude of raiding guilds on them. The main difference between the two realms - aside from the PvP setting of course - is that the PvP realm is further along our progression time line, having BWL and ZG opened and with the Dragons of Nightmare coming soon. PvE realm is at pre-1.4 patch currently.
