Just wondering if healers are needed?

If so which class is the best at healing at the moment?

Healers are always in demand. Healing in vanilla is dominated by priests, but other classes have their niches. I am an alliance player, so idk how resto shamans fit into this, but paladins are always brought along for their buffs, and druids for innervate and combat rez.
