How long /played did it take you to reach level 60?
Did you prefer quests, bgs or dungeons?

You cannot use Battlegrounds to gain XP.

Personally I mostly quested and that included doing all of the pre-60 dungeon quests.

How many hours did it take you to hit lvl 60?

The average player has 10-14 days /played when they get 60.

A very experienced player could get to 60 in 6-8 days /played if you n know what you're doing and playing a good solo class.

The fastest speed runs to 60 are just about 5 days /played. But those are from "professional" speed runners.

Al4n is right, it depends if you're an experienced player or not. If you've already played wow you should do it in 6-8 days.

To level fast, I recommend to do quests, and to grind any mob you find when you're travelling between quest-mobs spots. It's the fastest way to level in Vanilla.
Dungeons are not a very good way to level up quickly.

1-60 with feral druid took me about 9 days played (including alot of afk time)

Took me 9 days 1-60 as Rogue and some afk time

first char should take longer due to making money/profession if you are not in a hurry and you are ok with stopping for some gold making and all that stuff it will take you more probably

I leveled my warrior in 5 days 21 hours and my hunter in 5 days 15 hours. I feel as if starting on day two post server release slowed down my hunter by about 10 hours or so as levels 1-20 were a complete run and tag mobs as you could sort of thing.

Alliance or Horde? This seems some what hard to believe getting such a fast time as warrior... was it solo or grouped?
