How do I train different weapon types? I'm only level 5, but I had a rusty axe drop which was much better than starter sword. I met the level requirement but I couldn't equip it. Is there a way to train the axe skill? Sorry, this is probably as basic as it gets, but figured I'd ask. Thanks for any help!

You need to buy the weapon skill from a trainer in town. Each town has their own trainer. Swords for example can only be trained in Undercity and Stormwind. Axes in Orgrimmar or Ironforge.
