Warrior PvP, 1 vs 1

Warrior is the worst class in 1v1, and yes, some classes just kill you with no exp. Im a 2k3 duelist, i know perfectly how to play a warrior, but you have 0 chance in 1v1 against sp, mages and some other classes.

Secondly, if you wanna enjoy a warrior in pvp, it's not like the rest classes. You need to be Arms pvp specced, and you must have a good gear. Good gear means lot's of crit and strength/stamina, which are not very usual right now. It's hard to have a well geared pvp warr behind patch 1.10

There is no need to reach rank10 unless u are going to +rank11, since helmet/shoulders are just fucking crap currently. (Better get Valor one+ lionheart helmet +100hp)

Besides of that, Unstoppable force is not a very good 2h weapon. Dmg and stats are nice, but mace spec is not very ok in pvp imho. Warrior is a good class in open battles, but is the most dependant gear class in the game.

When you have like 5k hp plus lots of ap and 25% crit in battle stance (axe specced is the most succeful) you will enjoy warr, meanwhile random geared mages, sp , rogues , hunters and almost every class will rek you in the most situations.

OP, by the sounds of it you are playing the 31/20 Arms/Fury PvP spec. That's the spec of big hits that try to murder enemies in a short amount of time, except you don't have the epics to deliver that kind of damage or develop that kind of rage so that's why you're failing so hard.

You'd be better off speccing heavily into Fury for Death Wish (which also packs 30 seconds of fear immunity), lower CD intercepts, and better rage generation among other things.

It'll get better with gear. MC Warrior gear is mostly a joke. BWL/AQ/Naxx will make you much more robust. And you've pretty much gotta be a hardcore tryhard to be successful against good players 1v1. But if you see a Frost Mage... logout.

I hit 60 a couple weeks ago, and I'm going to PvP. But right now, I know the pain of PvPing as an undergeared Warrior.

Lol jk, I just actually found some tricks making me physically able to do, altough not completely viable in random pvp session. There is indeed a special plannification including you know you are fighting a Frost Mage soon or once prepared, you'll just walk around looking for one.

For this, you need to be an Engineer and have Goblin Rocket Helmet (or the Horned Viking Helmet found in Uldaman), plus the Gyrofreeze Ice Reflector.

You'll easily notice that in a Warrior/Mage encounter, 99.99% of Mages tend to insta-frost you on the spot once you've completed your charge. The trick is to activate your Gyrofreeze Ice Reflector while charging. Works everytime. You now have a single-cloth wearer blocked in front of you.

If he somehow manage to teleport/trinket/try to polymorph you, the Helmet you choose to wear should give you an additionnal chance to make him bite the dust. It's depend of your current gear if you choose to activate your Reckleness or not.

You can also try to improve your trick by bringing some Bombs, PVP trinket or your Gnomish Net-o-Matic Projector to the party, but that's a loss of gear you must see if you can afford or not.
