Need tips on making 1v1 style warrior.

Need tips on making 1v1 style warrior.

Since I like challenges, I've decided to undertake the challenge of making a duel hero Warrior. I want to be able to kill each class in a 1v1 (with similar gear) using anything I can in the game, which has under 10 min CD. So FAPs, nets, everything like that is OK. I am going to be going engineering of course, and I have a few 1v1 specs in mind:

Fury seems like it would have more of a chance in 1v1 since it would have 15 second intercept.

Shield slam warrior seems nice because of the 5 sec stun, and more importantly the silence. I can intercept and put a 3 sec silence on a mage, which gives me enough time to do some damage with a nice shield slam crit. It would also be good against other melee classes with the shield block, tankiness and imp disarm.

Otherwise, maybe the usual MS warrior will do the trick.

Other items that can help would be:

Once Aq comes out. That would help a good amount vs a mage, would possibly buy you enough time until your next intercept damage burst.

So, any tips, tricks, or items that can help in duels would be greatly appreciated.

prot is only good against melee. fury would be the best 1v1 with the 15s intercept against most classes, though MS isn't bad either. You want to use a 2h in select situations even if you're playing DW fury against a few classes like rogues maybe mages and paladins since your first swing will hit hard so you can do a lot of damage in those 3s intercept stuns against rogues (overpower too), kiting paladins when charge/intercept is on cd and after reaching a mage.

Shield bash blanket silence, what's the point. It's not bad if you get faked but it's surely not a reason to go prot for. If you want to prevent mage nova, you get a frost reflector (recently got bugged though).

Gear wise, lifegiving gem is your number one priority, engineering is a must have but also blacksmithing could be cool against locks. Gnome warrior and tauren would be my top picks for duels, orc is op obviously against rogues though. Some big items are noxxion's trinket from mara (you can cast it while moving), horned viking helmet, gnomish net, skull of impending doom, rocket booots, reflectors, decent 1h+shield, arena master trinket and thorium/iron nades.

thank you very much that helped a lot. Is there any potions that act like abolish poison the druid spell? To counter blind. Maybe even a self-damaging DoT item or something. Skull of impending doom should work with that? BTW, is there an equip macro for offhand weapons, I can't sem to find it, and /equip doesn't work in vanilla I think.

I use itemrack for equip macros, outfitter works too.

You can grab some anti-poisons for crip, but you can't use them while CC'd, scorpid surprise used to incredibly op for this before they patched it. For the short while after I found out, killing hunters was so easy. Anyway these days all you have are resto pots which went up insanely in price and they can be dispelled too so you wanna predict blinds if there's a felhunter/paladin around (usually whenever you get outside of deadzone it's 100% a blind)

Another op item is greater stoneshield. It can't be dispelled and it's basically the armor equivalent of having a shield on you. I've personally only recently realized how insane this can be in pvp against melee classes training you it's also like 2g for a pot though, lasts 2min however.
