Could anyone explain/link some general information about tanking in Vanilla (1.12.1)?

Like:

Which speed is best for your tanking weapon? (just saw another thread and your weapon should be fast.. :shock:

)
Stats to aim for?
Rotation?
Talents?

etc etc.
