Interesting PvP videos

Interesting PvP videos

Ok there are tons of crappy warrior videos out there.

What I am asking you here is to share some videos that actually highlight the skill of the player, not just his gear.

The best video I have ever seen so far is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvj4k0wqX7E

(I believe it was filmed on another private server).

Video is actually quite entertaining to watch and his opponents aren't just some random undergeared herb farmers. He's also not "over-using" engineering.

There are quite a lot of interesting videos/montages for rogues and mages but not that many for warriors.

He could've used sweeping strikes and swapped caster and easily 4/3v1'd those undergeared players in the beginning. Also in the mage 1v1 he blows reflector on nothing and gets a fear off without putting up piercing howl. Rather than simply pressing hamstring he blows a tuber and hp pot to 1v1 the paladin. In one of the opening clips against the shadow priest he pummels into nothing.

There wasn't much semblance of skill in that video at all. If that's the best video you've seen it says a lot about people playing warriors in vanilla.

Pvp videos from retail vanilla are mostly a joke these days. Pat is terrible by today's standards, no engineering is just a limitation used by keyboard turners/clickers who can't expand upon vanilla's already simple gameplay.

C'mon don't be so tough.

He's obviously not the best warrior in the entire world but saying that "there's wasn't much semblance of a skill in that video" is not fair (I don't know who the dude in the video is and I'm not a fanboy).

I'd be happy to see some warrior vanilla footage with a better player if you got a video to share. As I said, most war videos on youtube are Pat or Maydie-like players, i.e. overgeared warriors that are stomping low geared people and that are really not doing anything special.

You mean your view of pvp videos became skill based? Pat is very entertaining, and that was his purpose.
No one at the time compared to Laintime, and I guarantee most people still don't understand what he was doing with movement ;)

Most warrior PvP videos are from after they got rank 14, meaning gear carries the footage...
The videos that have survived are the ones with the wtfbbq footage like Pat or Maydie.
