Hey,
any tips on how to tank the packs before Lucifron as a prot warrior (without retalation)?
Thanks

1. Use FR gear.

2. Get these:
- Chained Essence of Eranikus (Quest reward, Sunken Temple).
- Ramstein's Lightning Bolts (Ramstein the Gorger, Strat-UD).

3. Use AoE taunt 1-2 seconds after the raid start to AoE the imps. And rotate shouts among 3-4 tanks.

You can solo tank it as warrior. Make sure you got thorns, warlock fireshield (still hits, this is not a bug), spam demo for 12 sec then mass aoe from dps.

We dont use a warrior on this. We use a pally to put on FR gear and let them pull and consencrate. After 2 seconds the aoe can go nuts. Much easier and faster. Warriors stand with ranged and taunt anything rhat gets pulled out, melee kill that.

what undertaker said - warriors do $hit AOE threat - have a Paladin AOE tank them and you will laugh at how easy it is

Or do it the easy way. Holy Paladin with some Plate Gear.

The easy way is to spam Demo Shout and Thunderclap whenever you can.

Battleshout is more aggro if you are getting your 4 party members on each press as well. I am nit banking on that, and will rather demo shout on the rare occasions a pally does not tank this part.

Ok, one tank (fire resist is a plus here but you can survive without) needs to los pull them into a spot away from the group and spam demo shout constantly. The other tanks pick up the loose ones.

No, it isn't. Battle Shout aggro is divided amongst the number of targets. Flame Imps are about 9+ different targets. Demoralizing Shout gives its aggro to each target. You must have all 5 members of your party within 20 yards of you and in line of sight to maximize the threat that Battle Shout generates. As far as I have seen, only the AoE aggro from Demo Shout has been fixed on this server. Battle Shout still seems to be bugged by giving too little threat or only applying threat with a fresh application of the buff a.k.a. the first cast.
