Do you use rend?

I use rend when soloing as I am impale proc spec. It is also useful when leveling. For raid dps it is crap, 5 man very very situational. "do i have excess rage? Will this thing live through the durration? For a dps war in a 5 man, it is fine to open with rather than a high damage move to prevent a snap aggro at start of pull.

After level 40 rend becomes useless outside of pvp.

Narrow mindedness is humorus. Rend paired with deep wounds is a good source of steady damage for a warrior.

With no hit gear, and no bleeds, it sucks seeing a mob with 22% hp for 8 seconds because you keep missing or being migated.

Bleeds help keep the hp going down, get to 20% for execute.

I use rend plenty as a tank, after established aggro. All moves are situational, to say "only pvp" on anything shows a lack of creative thinking.

Yes, lets waste GCDs and rage on a move that does no threat and shitty damage...VERY OPEN MINDED.

Unfair to continue this battle of wits while you are unarmed.

Rend procs HoJ, flurry and WF if the totem worked properly on Nost. Shit, even spamming hamstring would take priority over heroic strike if it properly procd windfury.

Rend or Hamstring causing HoJ or Ironfoe to proc is/would be bug abuse ala Hunters spamming rank 1 Wing Clip to proc Nightfall back on Peenix...

This is not a bug in fact on nostalrius its even worse with procs than on retail due to WF being wrongly implemented. Have you not ever wondered why people talk about using procs weapons in mainhand?

Stopped using Rend once you have overpower and/or whirlwind. Never use it again except pvp on tanks/rogues.

Rend/Hamstring also always used to procc prccs from WF/HoJ/Ironfoe/Flurry Axe/Sword/Sword Specc/Mace Specc, etc. Even through TBC. It is not bug abuse, it's how it was.

Just use google and explore the information highway opened before you.
