If this isn't game breaking, I'm not sure what is. Literally losing 100% of your rage when you should lose 0?

This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Hi,

Please could you post a detailed description of the correct behavior?

What happens if a warrior attack:
- is dodged? Is there a rage refund? How much %?
- is parried? Is there a rage refund? How much %?
- miss? Is there a rage refund? How much %?
Etc...

Thank you!

Rage generation
When a warrior's special attack is parried, he does not lose the rage cost associated with that spell (even though the spell fails).

Miss, dodge, or block events will consume the full rage cost when the spell fails.

Source: Every wowwiki entry on Rage/Parry since 2006.

So this thread is slightly fail, because people imply that special attacks never cost rage when they fail, which is simply not true.
Anything but parry consumes the total rage costs of your special attack.

Anyone who thinks missed abilities doesn't spend any rage didn't play warrior in retail vanilla. I hit the walls in my parents house a million times while missing a hamstring when I had to increase my skill with a weapon.

Although, even if it's just a bug with parry it's still a pretty big bug.

Leveling a warrior is painful enough without having rage magically disappear.

... or is parried. However, parry energy refund is not currently scripted on Nostalrius. I used to care, but now that I'm almost lvl60 it becomes more and more irrelevant in 5-mans and raids. Still would be nice to see it scripted one day.

Thank you for help.
Only parry will have a full refund. No refund for other kinds of missed attacks.

Yes Maos, it is still a bug and will be fixed if possible.

Fixed accordingly to wowwiki definition:
"When a warrior's special attack is parried, he does not lose the rage cost associated with that spell (even though the spell fails). Miss, dodge, or block events will consume the full rage cost when the spell fails. "
Will be applied on live within a couple of days.

I said this over and over again in the "warrior is useless" thread and was consistently told I was stupid. Scrubs will be scrubs. The level of skill for warriors posting here is shocking.
