in vanilla yes.

they also have the highest base stam stat as well. this was normalized in some later xpack

Hardiness will literally save you from getting peeled at least a few times a game, it's fucking horrible how broken that shit is.

The way the 5% bonus works is its 5% increase to total HP, so that includes stamina, and it can get pretty rediculous.
