Edge master is better. 7 skill close to 3% hit. And a big reduction on glancing blow damage. If ur human using sword or mace as human you got your 310+. Non human, Malideath, or orc axe

Each point of weapon skill only adds 0.04% hit, so no where near 3%.
Has anyone actually done the math/testing required to actually know what's better? Because I think we should get that sorted out beforehand.

You are wrong. 0.04 is when your skill EXCEEDS the enemy DEF rating. This is even clarified in patch notes from blizzard. You will only exceed against lower level mobs. This was implemented to prevent complete face roll over lower level mobs. (more so than it already is)

What's that? Devilsaur leggings are the second BiS pants atm with only r12 legs beating them. Edgemaster's beat the 26 ap + 1% crit + 2% hit from the devilsaur gauntlets.

ok i didnt account for the cloudkeepers on use which is on a 30min cd. op when used with recklessness, but devilsaur still has better passive stats horde side.

For the most part yes. However, gearing for +Hit as arms when you are past 8% is a complete waste as by then you are capped, while fury should be getting as much +Hit as possible.

EDIT: Disregarding that Arms isnt a viable raid-spec for two reasons:
1. MS debuff takes up a valuable debuff-slot on boss.
2. Arms DPS in a raid enviroment is simply worse than fury

Helm: 8str or 1% haste. (The latter being superior once you reach bwl gear progression).
Shoulders: 5 fire resist currently or 30AP once ZG releases.
Cloak: 3 agi or subtlety (-3% threat) when AQ releases.
Chest: 4 all stats.
Bracers: 9str.
MH wep: Crusader.
OH wep: Crusader.
Gloves: 1% haste (yes, it is superior to both 7agi and 7str).
Leggings: 8str or 1% Haste. (Same deal as the helmet).
Boots: Runspeed.
Ranged weapon: 3% hitscope, assuming Nostalrius keeps to the blizzlike progression it'll be usable until AQ.

EDIT: About the 1% haste vs 8str ordeal. I have run this through a spreadsheet and these enchants are basically identic in terms of pure DPS value for a raidbuffed (Alliance) in pre-BWL gear and with kings buff. This means that 1% will likely be superior for a Horde player right now. Also lets not forget that the 3% haste you get adds to your rage regeneration.

Do you have any more suggestions for chestpiece? Those 2 require very expensive / hard to get mats afaik, and if I'm informed correctly, the arena boss chest doesn't exist yet or doesn't have the stats...
