I would tend to disagree that you need any FR for Baron.

Based on what?
Retail vanilla where not having it killed you? Or other bugged server there didn't have the fight accurate?

Some FR items that should be considered:

Cloak: Cape of the Fire Salamander (BRD)
Cloak: Fireproof Cloak (Domo)
Shoulder: Fireguard Shoulders (Domo)
Chest: Black Ash Robe (Firemaw)
Bracer: Emberplate Armguards can also be of Fire Resistance, which would of course be best.
Legs: Flamewaker Legplates (MC Naga bosses)
Legs: Emberweave Leggings (Flamegor)
Ring: Green ring of Fire Resistance, of course (AH)
Boots: Lavawalker Greaves (Strat UD)
Chest/Legs/Boots: Tier 2 (Nef/Rag/Brood)

I haven't looked into NR yet, but since these crafted pieces are introduced in patch 1.11, it's probably worth it to do some research on how to stack it up when it actually matters.

A slight note about the Ironvine set, didn't the set come in a later patch?

im sorry if this was already addressed. BUUT with AQ fast approaching. what can we farm for in the way of nature resist? pre dragon, prec cen circle?

Maraudon has is a great place to start, also UBRS has Gyth for better helms.
A few shields from either quest/Dungeon (Stratholme).
