What would be the reason to use Quel over Finkle's? Any specific scenarios?

5 mans. You cant spam heroic strike and the proc is often, helping you when you are not def capped.

On an aoe pull, use dagger, swap back after this pull.

Raid off tanking when you are rage starved for harder hits, swap back to dagger when you anticipate boss coming back to you.

Keep both on action bar for quick swapping in this senario.

Pretty much any situation where:

A) You don't have enough rage to use heroic strike at every occurance.
Or
B) Maximing threat is not a priority.

Otherwise you can benefit from the extra stamina, defense, armor, and weapon damage.

Well said. Also in 5mans where the large chunks of rage coming in will benefit you more than the small but steady stream of rage.

Dear god.

Yes, harder hits generate more rage but you also hit less with a slower weapon. A few DPS difference isn't gonna give you tons of rage, we are talking about a few points of rage during a shorter period of time at most. There is better ways to gain rage, like Mighty Rage Potion or just don't dumping all your rage in the first hand.

Using a fast dagger gives you "a few more heroic strikes during a shorter period of time at most".

Plask the more post you put up the more I learn you are shit.

Big first hit in a 5 man is very important to get 12 rage instantly to get you first sunder off asap. Swap next target and another bit white hit, this is much better than 58-71 damage dagger hits giving you 2-3 rage.

Also you stance danxe a good bit, you delayed autoattack works great witj quel becauae you will get two white hits, the one before the swap, and the one after the stance swap. Much stonger than the two white hits you will gel on alcor or fink.

Except you rarely get white hits when tanking a raidboss.

And why are you talking about 5 man dungeons? And I don't see how stance danceing with quel'serrar would help your TPS lol.

PS: Quel'Serrar is a shitty raiding weapon.
