It is for alliance and they got BoK so common sense would say yes.

Greetings. Looking for advice regarding fury tanking.

My basic understanding understanding of fury tanking is that I generate less threat in defensive stance and no shield slam plus I'm squishier. On top of that, my guild will be gearing me as fury( so no clutching off of being raid geared).

I am looking for advice for gearing as fury. Weapon choices, tps vs other, aoe tanking gear, and other friendly advice like things I should do/not do as fury tanking.

The same things apply to fury tanking as with protection. The difference being you will have to rely more heavily on Heroic strike and Sunder to build threat.

I'm a fury warrior but I like to be able to tank when its necessary. In the event I win onyxia's head should I take the tank trinket or the DPS neck? Which of these is easier to upgrade?

You will replace onyxia neck with Hakkar neck. You will never replace the tanking trinket.
