Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello folks,

I had it several times that a mage frostnovad me and went back like 3 meters. Now I used intimidating shout, the combat log says hes afflicted by it but he just keeps casting and running around with the fear symbol above his head.
Do you know whats going on?
