Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello,

I know there are a few posts like this, but the wowprovider website seems to be down so I can't see any of the answers.

I want to level prot with a friend. Yes I know it is not the best, but it is what I would like to do. First off, defense skill...do I need the points in the talent tree when leveling? What are the actual must haves for the prot tree? I know parry, tactical mastery, and crit in the arms/fury trees are very good. What in prot should I get as I level?

And oh yeah, I don't main warrior, though I have one pretty high level, and I'm going to assume you know prot leveling is painful as hell. I would advise taking talents that help you somewhat in DPS or utility if possible, though there aren't that many talents like that in prot. And unless you're doing dungeons exclusively to level, it might not be so bad to consider taking talents useful in PvP as well.

If all else fails just do the standard fury until 40, then arms, then swap to prot at 60.

interesting but as a warrior you don't have to slow the mobs just keep the aggro on you. if they running around that mean your dps are stupid. Demoralizing isn't but but i prefer reduce heroic strike for a better aggro chance. 2 points in taunt improved is a bit too much one is enough. But your spec is totally viable at a leveling warrior.
