Levelling weapons for the last ten levels.

At level 42 or 43 i replaced my ww axe with the stoneslayer sword from last boss of uldaman. Now im level 51 and the weapon is starting to feel a lot less impressive, but i havent found any readily available upgrades. I was hoping for ice barbed spear but had forgotten there was a harder quest than in later patches. What should I get instead?

Also thought about speccing dw fury instead and going with thrash blade, if I cant find a better 2h weapon. Thoughts?

Ice barbed and arms (or 2h fury for that matter) really is the supreme choice up to 60, there is no other good options for many lvls in your case. Thrashblade and a good OH is a solid choice too up to 60 and wont be replaced until you get Dal'rends x2 or Ironfoe.

Please correct meif im wrong, but ice barbed is almost impossible to get at this point. You need to kill the elite trolls, and everyone is focused on winning the match instead...

Thats why im looking for alternatives to ibs

The Nicker from LBRS (if you're lucky) is a solid weapon. Before that, Executioner's Cleaver, Kang, Pendulum of Doom, Stoneslayer should still all be good 2h choices.

Thanks for replying, but I already have stones layer, I'm looking to upgrade it. Kang seems a bit too expensive for a temp item, lbrs is still some levels away. Executioner is only moderately better than stoneslayer, pendulum isn't much of an upgrade and expensive as fuck.

Maybe I should stick with stoneslayer for now...

Dont underestimate the power of thrashblade. It is one of the most powerful blue 1h weapons in the game. I would argue it is only beaten by dal'rends when you have the set bonus.

I am seriously considering going fury for that very reason

I already respecced some times though, so its not very cheap.
