End game: Making money as a warrior?

How do you make your cash to fund the money suck that is consumables/enchants/mounts?

I'm used to either playing a class that can effectively solo dungeons & take enchanting or playing on a server where farming ore/herbs is viable.

I'm really hoping to keep Engineering as a profession but the only real profession I see as a viable partner to that for money would be Skinning.

Enchanting seems impractical without being able to solo dungeons
Mining/Herbalism seem impossible due to population
And all the other professions require a complimentary gathering profession [not at cap of course, but to 1-300 without it is well out of my budget & don't seem to have the pay-off.]

Is Engineering just a rich man's profession?
[And a wonderful compliment to Enchanting if you're a Hunter/Mage farming DM.]

Gathering proffs were good at some point apparently. I've seen prot warrs running DM East for the thorium alone at the exit. If you're dps specced though, with pvp/t1/valor gear you can solo devilsaur and make a killing if you have an addon for timing setup and low ping + tagging strats.

Appreciate the info. When you say "running DM east", do you mean solo, with a healer, or running a group through? I was under the impression it was primarily hunters/mages that could solo content at any sort of speed to farm. (Obviously farming nodes vs. mobs is different though.)

You run a normal 5 man, vendor the blues and mine the veins at the end. Though I doubt it's very profitable, haven't seen anyone apart from prot warriors doing it.

Fucking rough.
Maybe the 60 hunter is the move. I love me an alt anyway.

Doesn't turning in PvP marks give decent cash? Like 35g a win?

Nope pvp marks for cash is a joke, either get good at farming devilsaur/move across the street from the server.

Another option would be to pm server first level 59 basement dwelling champion Whitekidney. I heard he's got loads of exploits

Rolled a hunter before I rolled my warr main.

Never any gold concerns, ever.

Dumping 150 hours into a hunter just to have gold hits me in the feels.

^^ Right!?

I've found 5man's are my best money maker. Blood of the Mountain BRD 25-45g and some greens (+40 shadow damage helm - 200g), just random stuff.

How to make money as a warrior?

Answer... play the game.
