So if I understand this correctly, deep wounds is classfied as a low priority debuff and should never push off any medium or high priority debuffs off a raid mob. This means that I should be able to spec into impale without ever pushing off any other important debuffs.
I am currently specced for and playing the role of dps for my guild, which is a nice change of pace as I was an MT/OT in vanilla for nearly two years. I want to push the envelope and do as much dps as possible, which leaves me wondering, is it safe to grab impale without overwriting more important debuffs.
The next step will be convincing and proving to my guild leader that deepwounds won't cause problems with other higher priority debuffs. Thanks.

Medium debuff can not remove a hard debuff.
Hard Debuffs:
Sunder Armor/Expose Armor
Curse of Recklessness
Curse of Elements
Curse of Shadow
Curse of Tongues/Mind-numbing Poison
Thunderclap/Thunderfury BOTH debuffs
Demo shout
Hunter's mark
Fairy Fire
Judgement of Wisdom/Light
Disarm
Medium debuffs:
Spell Vulnerability (Nightfall)
Fire Vulnerability (Imp scorch)
Frost Vulnerability (Winter Chill)
Shadow Vulnerability ( Shadow weaving)
Shadow Vulnerability ( imp. Shadowbolt)
Ignite
Vampiric Embrace
Mortal Strike
Deadly Poison
Serpent Sting
Deep Wounds
And so on...
What you want in a raid:
Sunder Armor
Curse of Recklessness
Curse of Elements
Curse of Shadow
Hunter's mark
Fairy Fire
Judgement of Wisdom/Light
Winter Chill / imp. Shadowbolt / Deep Wounds

As far as I've seen it seems to be knocked off the target quite quickly, not causing any problems.

So do any of you guys actually raid with deep wounds and and not get told to respec because of debuff issues? I mean every fury build I on these forums includes 3/3 deep wounds and 2/2 impale, so this must mean its legit and does not knock any important debuffs off. I just wanna be 100 percent sure before I spend 50g to respect.
Thanks.

Don't take my word for it, but as far as I've seen pretty much every dps warrior got the talent, and I have yet to see anyone being told to respec. It would be such a huge dps loss to do so. That talent is always going to be a slight pain in the ass even at twice as many debuff slots, but you have to take it to get the awesome dps talent.

Here you
can see some
logs from our raid on sunday. I (Drudlo) am currently not specced into deep wound/impale. From what I know Wrath and Atlantwise is 3/3 deep wound/impale. We have pretty much the same gear, except Wrath got Ironfoe. You do loose some DPS, but you still have the opportunity to compete on the meters. Read from the logs as you want, but its not a big of DPS loss as you might think. My current
talents.

Spec it cause you need it for impale.
Dont over think it.
