Okey, so let's shred some light over this hype about Felstriker. A lot of people in the game that DON'T have Felstriker says that it's BIS till Naxx and that it's irreplaceable. I have been using Felstriker for a good 1.5 month and after all that time i can say that the proc rate is really, really bad, at it's best it can proc 2 times in 5 minutes and that's not to "overpowered" according to me. I think that the proc sounds amazing, 100% crit over 3 sec that's extremely good, but still, i do think that you'll lose damage due to the low damage of Felstriker compared to other weapons sush as Deathbringer, and especially for me who is a Orc with 5 extra axe skill. If you would ask me what's best between a Deathbringer and Felstriker in off-hand i would definitely go with Deathbringer, or even Vis'kag the Bloodletter for Human to use that 5 extra sword skill.

It would be interesting to see it run thru procwatch to actually see the proc-rate numbers.

i remember hearing it had a terrible proc rate in retail too.

Its hard to quantify the value of the proc however low it may be. If youre lucky you can get 2 mh swings in plus an ss and 5 pt evis, or you could get a proc at the start of your mh cycle, miss the swing andhave just dumped energy with tea on cd.

Wars with it would be in a similar boat, its just when it procs. If you can get 2 heroics and a bt or a high rage execute rage pot execute or just with dbl or single crus procced then yeah its fkn awsome.

The main thing about is it that you can react to the proc to maximize it which imo adds depth to play so always gonna be on team proc.

Do most 2h weapons have crap proc rates? Because the proc rate OP described seems to be the same for Searing Blade...the fireball proc only happened like, once every 12-15 mobs.

Proc rates cary greatly depending on the weapon. Same with enchant. Icy weapon sucked as i wouldnt see a proc between 3 raid mobs sometimes.

Quel proc rate is awsome and see it refresh itself at times. But honzo was a bit low for me.

For 2h stoneslayer was put a lot, almost once mob. Trial and error is what we have to go.by.

The proc RATES are virtually the same regardless of weapon speed. Proc CHANCE is higher per hit on slower weapons since enchants are based off a PPM figure.

Vanilla is set based percents, in 2005, ONLY crusader varried.

Fiery weapon having the highest proc rate of any enchant and is tbe required enchant for a proc build rogue.
