Charge bugs

Bugs that I've noticed regarding charge:

1) You land behind your target in PvP. I've lost count of the amount of times I couldn't connect the charge-hamstring sequence on a target, because after running up to him, I ended up passing him and had to quickbly badpedal or turn around to actually be in melee range. Charge should always, always put you in front of the target. They are stunned in place for a short moment precisely for you to make contact. It's rarer in PvE though.

2) You land and face the wrong way, happens in PvE as well, even vs static mobs. You hit charge, and when you get to the target, you're facing to a side, or even to the opposite direction where he is, again wasting a second or so of your time, where you can't connect the next hit immediately. I've been told this has largely to do with camera angle panning while charging, but it really shouldn't change anything. Camera =/= character position.

- I've not tried charging while falling from a high distance, to avoid the fall damage. Some people have said this doesn't work and you lose the HP like if you hadn't charged. Can anyone confirm?

Can you list more bugs? One of the best features of Nostalrius is actually having a working charge, so let's provide collective feedback to fix what little is left to make it perfect.

I am aware there is a bug thread for warrior spells, but I believe charge (and intercept) elicits a special mention here.

--------

I use Intercept more rarely, but seems to follow the same patterns.

I love how charge works here, it's simply op I've never missed a charge hamstring on mounted targets or anything for that matter. Stop keyboard turning and backpedalling and you'll appreciate how well it's implemented.

Charging from the air is wonky, it works it's just that you spam it like you're having a seizure for it go off.

sadly i disagree, it is a little buggy here. im only in NY so im not a crazy distance from the servers, but i feel like 300-400 ping on my charge always.

Why should I stop? It always makes me chuckle how people run circles in front of me, barely preventing me from hitting them, while I just strafe and backpedal :3

----

Regardless, I feel as if the buggy nature comes to show mostly during PvP. In PvE, the bugs are largely restricted to the incorrect angle upon arrival. But in PvP, the amount of times I simply end up outside of target range, is really notorious. Only casters while channeling a spell (entirely static) are those I know I will charge and reach correctly. Anyone running around, there's a fair chance I won't be in melee range.

Charging to stop fall damage has never worked for me. I can charge in the air, but I still take fall damage.

Your other reports of charge bugging out making you charge through/next to the target facing away are also my experience. Maybe 5% of charges do this.

To the silly person who mentioned that it was user error: it is impossible for me to keyboard turn using my keybinds, so that is wholly not the problem here.

Have you ever charged on retail before pandas/cataclysm? People would jump your charge and you're fucked right there with no way to close the gap among other bugs.

The only thing that's bugged is the z axis on charge.
