Fury gameplay: level 30+

Fury gameplay: level 30+

by Njörd » Thu Nov 05, 2015 8:04 pm

Hi,

I've got a level 30 warrior, and I've got some questions about the gameplay I should use for the upcoming levels:

- I've read a lot about the slam build, but in fact it seems that slam hits less hard than heroic strike. What is the advantage of using it?
- I also put 3 points for cleave in my build, but I actually never use it. For which kind of situation is it useful? I guess to fight against several mobs at a time, but this is pretty rare for a warrior, isn't it?
- For leveling, is it better to use berserker or battle stance? Berserker has more crit chance so more damage, but I can't use charge nor overpower.

Thanks for your help, GL HF!

i never used slam, still havnt trrained it. its borderlined useless. just 2h fury. battle/zerker is dependent
on situation.

Slam is pretty much useless outside of raiding (and even in raids it is very hard to utilize correctly). Dont even bind it, you wil never (and should never) be using it honestly. You should be lvling as 2h fury, you should be doing it in Zerk-stance and stance-dance for overpower.

Use it when fighting multiple mobs along with Whirlwind. Here's how you should spec for 2h fury:

Go all the way down the fury three before you start on arms talents.

What I dont really understand is why spec into unbridled wrath. Does it really gives you that much rage ?

I prefer booming voice because i'm lazy. or imp. Demo shout for less incomming damage for solo'ing and tanking.

Do not take a talent for "if i am tanking" cause you are gimping yourself for the 95% of the time you are not tanking.

Booming voice isnt bad cause it saves you rage on reapplying BS but more importantly keeps it up as any person tgat is new to warrior will forget it ALL THE TIME.

I frequently have to remind new lvl 60s even to keep it up in 5 mans. Annoying that the tank has to keep doing it when there is a fury in group.

un-improved demo shout should reduce mobs of equal levels AP to zero anyways. Improved Demoshout is only really needed on lvl63 raidbosses if warlocks are using CoR. For soloing and 5mans, you wont have any use for it really.
