The rend damage does not seem to benefit from either weapon damage or attack Power.

if 'im not wrong its a scale Dmg+%AP something like that nothing with the weapon dmg

It doesn't scale. Neither do druid or rogue bleeds.

Rend is bad in vanilla. Only useful to prevent rogues from re-stealthing, it's a waste of rage for the damage it causes--even with talent.

Rogue's bleed do scale in Vanilla tho.
