Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi!

Looking for advice.
I just reached 60 and want to switch from arms to a protection warrior for being a main tank in raids.

Yes, I searched this forum and googled for the best tank build and I saw a lot of posts with links of Wowprovider , which doesn't work (site is down?).

I am not looking for a guide, just a good tank talent tree.

Can you help me out and post a tank talent tree?

In the build you linked you basically have all the prot talents you'd want for pve. Any changes you'd make would be to remove some for talents that would increase your tps.

If you are a new tank, your gear will be lacking in def/ effective health pool while doing your many 5 mans and stepping into ZG as an off tank.

Imp revenge is extemely important for beginner tanks and will increase your survivability greatly.

Take 2 points from crit in fury, and take 1 point from imp hs in arms. Use those three for imp revenge.

Once you are well geared and work yoir way to main tank or first OT, you can drop imp revenge, put those in imp hs for more tps. Eventually going TPS impale spec 17/3/31 once you are main tank.

Just remember in 5 mans which you will run plenty of at first, imp sunder over imp hs due to rage starvations. And you cant crit with sunder, revenge crit is very small, so you are only looking at shieldslam crits which are low without block value on gear.
