So I'm on the verge of hitting 60 and have been looking into raid gear quite a bit lately. I'm basically after some good websites you could recommend for information on stat values, hit and crit soft/hard caps and proc rates etc. Things like exactly how str and agi effects a fury warrior etc. (In relation to Nosttalrius of corse) Im quite newb when it comes to this sort of thing and would like to learn more but the information on this forum seems to he scatteted all over the place. Thanks in advance chaps!

Unless i missed something, whats in the stickies are only useful for tanks. It doesnt have any offensive info at all. Do stats work the same for wars as they do rogues? If so ill just look in the rogue section.

I believe Undertanker is referring to the dps spreadsheet which requires microsoft excell. The values of stats change as your gear improves. From what I understand though, you want enough hit so your specials don't miss all the time and then you want to focus on crit more without going over the crit cap. I believe I read somewhere here that at the early stages of gearing: 30ap = 1 crit = 2 hit. As your gear improves it slowly shifts towards: 30ap = 2 crit = 1 hit. Though stat weights are more of a general guide line and if you want the actual weightings then I suggest you check out the spreadsheet. Take what I write with a grain of salt. There are more informed people who post here.

The stats themselves give you the following: 1 str = 2ap and a small amount of block value, 1 agi = 0.05% crit and dodge, and 2 armour.

Without world buffs and atleast pre raid gear it's roughly 20 ap = 1 crit 15 ap = 1 hit (over special cap). If you're under special cap or over crit cap and not quite spamming HS much, then it's around 30+ ap = 1hit. I should also mention that 1 hit is strictly better than 1 crit above the crit cap (even if you're spamming HS every swing with rend buff).

I'm taking into account windfury since I play horde side; hit is valued less alliance side.
