Pre 60 you're mainly only gonna be able to tank st, brd, later dm e, and mayyyybeeeee the first half of lbrs? Anything further would depend on your group's gear. Because of that, you don't have to spec prot just yet. I tanked BRD as arms all the way up to 60 just fine.

But if you want a spec I guess you can use this which is basically the MT threat spec.

As you level, work your way down to impale then put the last 3 points in cruelty. Variants of the build can include imp. revenge and/or taunt if you feel you need em. I wouldn't think about imp. shield wall until you're raid guild needs it.

Tnx for youre answer Danielgames.

- Imp Rend, is that only for the deep wounds and impale or do you use it?
- Tactical mastery, why do we mainly use that one?

- Imp sunder armor, isnt that a good one?

And is there some macro that starts in, defencive stance, Battle stance, charge, TC and defencive?

yes rend is for the impale, but it does still do decent damage for high armor targets

Imp Sunder is great for 5 mans, as you cant spam hs like in a raid.

Really your talent points are stressed here.

As a tank, your dps prob are new as well, which means low dps/tps from damage dealers.

You dont need an impale spec then, but would help with questing. I believe you are better off just staying your level spex until 58+, though.

Swapping too early will just slow you down, and brd isnt worth a respec.

Arms with 5/5 deflection and 4/5 or 5/5 tactical mastery does nicely for everything up until LBRS. I personally stay arms until 58 and then switch to prot and grind BRD until 60.

(rend) I can't think of any reason for a tank to use rend. It's just for impale. There's another thread that discussed the uses of rend in pvp beyond using on rogues if that interests you.

(tm) quick mocking blow and intercepts. I also like to use execute, whirlwind, thunderclap, and overpower when I tank dungeons so saving rage on stance dance is always nice.

(sunder) sure why not. The build I gave you was so you didn't have to respec at 60.
