Seeking advice for my OH: Mirah's Song vs. CHT

Yo fellow thugs,

I've got a question regarding my off-handed weapon as I cant figure out which is better.

I'm playing a Night Elf rogue, currently with this talent build:

As you can see I'm specced into Sword Specialization and I'm currently wearing a Vis'kag in my main hand. In the perfect world i would be using Maladath in off-hand to make up for the missing +sword skills compared to the human sword rogues, but as of yet, Maladath hasn't dropped and therefore I'm left with 2 options for my off-hand:

a) Core Hound Tooth http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=18805
b) Mirah's Song http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=15806

So, simply, my question is; which would you prefer?
Obviously, Mirah's Song has lower DPS and weaker stats than CHT, but would you still prefer it because of the 5 points in Sword Specialization or would you be using CHT while waiting for Maladath?

Without training dummies available (and maybe my lack of knowledge) I don't know how to test this. It's been nagging me for a while now and i decided to ask in here to get some kind of clarification.

Any input is appreciated.
