Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello fellow travlers

Ive recently started to consider wow again, and vanilla was the best one.
Back in the early days I was a hardcore player, both in PvP and PvE.
Years has passed...kids, work, wife...well.. Doing PvP and PvE hardcore is not an option..

But my question is, as I consider too play either a mage or a rogue. As a rogue, without rank 14 gear, or mc++ gear.. How will I preform in pvp? considering I will not get the best weps.'

And what about mage? the same senario?
