Im new to vanilla dagger spec and I have a few questions about other combat dagger rogues out there.

When on raid bosses, How many combo points is optimal for SnD?

1 or 2? Should I use 5 point SnD?

and do combat dagger rogues use evis? I read somewhere on a thread somewhere on these forums where someone said they don't?

I want to improve my dps rotation on a boss in raid but im kinda struggling with 8% hit and around 9% crit. Im not sure what im doing wrong. I still see mobs dodge my backstabs and having some trouble keeping my energy gains even. I need some guidance on how I should use my finishers. Also should i use adrenaline rush + bladeflurry at the same time on a boss? or use them separate? any help would be apprciated

btw I already read the Rogue Guide by Oto and it is very limited on combat dagger specifics. Any help is appriciated

no one? All i see are sword rogues hardly any dagger ones

Combat Daggers : 15/31/5

You use 5-point SnD.

The optimal cycle is 5x Backstab + 5 CP SnD.

SnD will last 30 seconds, and casting 5x Backstab takes you exactly 30 seconds (a little more if you take into account Misses / Dodges on your BS costing you 11 energy ; it's counterweighted by the fact that you can use 4CP SnD once in a while, and use AR & Tea & shit too).

That's it. Of course when on mobs you're better off using SnD after 1-3 BS (usually 2) to get SnD up as soon as possible, but the sustained dps cycle is 5 BS + SnD, rince and repeat.
