Is it bugged, trying to do the lvl 10 Rogue quest as a human and can't pickpocket.

If I attack him, well he spawns 4 guards and I die...

The item has a respawn time

But first.... everything is bugged....

It's not bug at all, you have to be more careful and wait for the gobelin to be at a safe spot ...

It's a bit too easy to do something wrong and yell " it's bug ffs "

I wasn't yelling, I was asking and it's already been answered.

The item is on a respawn timer.

I was able to stand near him and spam my pickpocket button and nothing happened. Anyway, as I said, it was answered above your post.

I was telling that to bilandal who claim that everything is bugged :p

Dude, I guess you missunderstood me - my comment was about the fact people say that things are bugged although it's blizzlike just because it's negative for them now adays.

I was on that quest tonight. Tried the regular sap/pick pocket method. Didn't work since sap would always break me out of stealth and get in combat and pick pocket returned 0 loot. After few deaths I decided to kill the guy (hoping that respawned mob would have quest item to pick pocket) but then his corpse started to sparkle and I got the item as a drop.

The quest item can be pick-pocketed or looted from the corpse. If you have no loot when trying to pick-pocketing, it means another Rogue has already picked the goblin pockets. This means you'll have to kill him as pick-pocket loot respawns doesn't seem to respawn.
