So I made a rogue on this server and noticed that you can backstab mobs without gouge or stun by going directly on top of the mob, then strafing left and right and spamming backstab. It can be a bit awkward but it works every time if you do it correctly.

Now my question is: is this considered as abusing game mechanics, since it's obviously not supposed to work this way?

The fact mobs can backstab while they are facing you + the fact you can't backstab mobs who are fleeing make it fair game.

I don't see how it is an abuse of game mechanics since the mechanic as a whole is broken and not in the players' favor.

when they flee, you have to backstab them directly in the face for it to work.
