Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So i've always wanted bloodfang shoulders and i think I found the best way to do that for pvp since the shoudlers are shit.
pretty much would be swapping
rank 10 pvp shoulders -> t2 shoulders
Blood Guard gloves -> t1 gloves,
and t1 pants ->2 pants
I have all of these besides the t2 shoulders currently.

Doing this gear swap i mentioned i will lose 17 attack power, .3% crit roughly.
My only gain will be +5% chance to apply poisons.
So my question is, what do yall consider the value of 5% poison increase? Since this is for strictly pvp, i'm starting to lean towards the poison as being more valuable than the 17 AP and .3 crit. (+ looks)
Reminder, ik the t2 shoulders are shit, I'ts just something ive always wanted and this is the best way i could work it into a legit pvp set.

in a lot of old vanilla retail pvp videos, i remember seeing BF hood and shoulders in quite a few of them
