I know combat swords/maces is the go to for leveling but what about daggers and utilizing straf backstabs?

Strafe backstabs is probably the fastest way to level a Rogue.

It's also the most satisfying and fun. You can fight back in PvP too and not suck balls like you would in a combat swords spec.

I think strafe daggers is stronger, I mean there are epic daggers that cost nothing.

But it think it is annoying to play

What would the leveling spec look like for the first ~30 skillpoints?

Not like this is anything special.
Was possible like this in retail too. Just super annoying to Play....

I dont understand how combat swords suck in pvp yet i was 29 bracket-39 bracket i was combat and was killing people left and right o.O

It doesn't suck, it's just less efficient in wpvp 1v2 etc. People just find it easier to say it sucks since it IS weaker. You don't have enough crit so burst is very luck based, you only have one burst cd adrenaline rush that is easily countered and you are very dependant on your uptime (unlike dagger speccs that only need to get a couple of backstabs in per fight).
