Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So I dinged 60 on the Princess rescue, and got my trinket, and I also managed to win Ironfoe.
I would like some help on a build that uses this awesome mace. I think my level 60 respec would do well to build around my first epic drop on my main here on Nost!

I will be looking to take part in level 60 PvE content, but I also want to PvP, but I prefer to keep my PvE spec.

Many of the threads from the past are using calculators that are not available anymore (wowprovider).

Any help the community can give me with a good DPS spec using this awesome weapon would be greatly appreciated.

depending what you want, you can go hemo with that lol
or do what everyone else did with swords but go maces.

Ok, what I did was went with my regular combat spec with maces instead of swords, as Ironfoe procs as much as the sword spec bonus, so adding a possible stun is nice. However, I was thinking, what about using something like the spec linked below because WE does not appear to apply to Maces, and interesting that CB for me seems as valuable as AR since it would guarantee crits on EV's with 5 CP.

CB is not as valuable as AR in terms of dps gains in a pve situation. Pin that in your mind.

Hemo with ironfoe, as a pre-raid setup, would be pretty OP, imo.

Run UBRS a hundred times, and reserve Felstriker beforehand.

Speaking from experience, my rogue used Warblade of the Hakkari and Felstriker well into BWL, if you want to look into raiding eventually.

Would this work in PvE? I was under the impression that this (or some shifting of points) was PvP. I was reading a post on Reddit and the conversation seemed to lean toward this being OK for 5 mans but in raids would be lackluster.

I really appreciate the feedback! ALSO*** One other question, is it better for PvP to simply go daggers and use a couple that I have even if they are entry level, or grab gutripper and use the other decent green one I have? Just to get into a CB Daggers build to rip face in BG's?

If you try to spec hemo in any non-pug raid, you will be removed from the raid. It's fine for UBRS but not as good as combat

I figured as much, too many essential abilities ignored, I would have even tried it tbh, it jsut seems as though some have suggested it could work.

hey I have a question regarding ironfoe in pve,

when I use soyoen's spreadsheet and insert full t2, accuria, nef ring, human, mainhand: ironfoe , offhand: CTS, dm hit trinket, blackhands breath + the common raidbuffs like kings, mongoose etc ( no world buffs)
+ replacing sword spec with mace spec (only 4 points and 1 in improved poison)

the spreadsheet actually says that in this situation the ironfoe as MH and cts as OH is doing more dps than:

CTS in the Mainhand and brutality blade in the offhand in the normal sword spec.


Can anyone confirm this? Also compared the ironfoe combo to every other weapon in aq40 (sword AND dagger build) except seal fate builds cuz for some reasons the spreadsheet does not provide the seal fate talent.

And for my results its basically: ironfoe MH and CTS oh is better than any other weapon combo from AQ 40, only double r14 swords are more dps

I mean it would be pretty hilarious if ironfoe is srsly better than cthun dagger or aqr
