Best way to make money as a rogue? trying to save up for my mount.

Pickpocket and LP are your friend

At level 40, buy rank 3 stealth. Go to Scarlet Monastery. Pick pocket every single mob in the Library. Don't wear armor because every once in awhile a mob will resist the PP and agro on you. Take the death and run back. A fair number of mobs will have locked junkboxes on them, which you can pick open. About 20% of those boxes will have a Rogue's Diary in them. Those vendor for 45 silver each. On a good run I'd get 9-10 diaries. On a poor run, maybe 3-4. It only took me a couple hours of grinding to get the 50ish gold I needed to buy my mount.
