I'm wondering if having a hemo rogue in raid is worth it?

I've read hemo scales really well in high end gear for personal dps but I'm thinking the raid buff itself is more beneficial now that people don't have very good gear yet considering it doesn't scale.
(Correct me if I'm wrong..)

Anyone know the math and stuff?

Hemo is not viable for pve purposes at any gear level, it comes close with "deep naxx gear", but not quite there

Ah, that is a shame..
Was thinking the extra dps from other melee's would make up for personal dps loss.
Gonna pvp as hemo and wanted to pve with it as well to save respec money.
With debuff limit set to 8 I guess thats even more of a pipedream.

for 5 man .Yes. I run hemo in 5 man and i do rly good acording to my dmg meter. And not only that, i belive that even tho i do spend my 5 cp on KS and not dmg i still am first or close 2nd on meter. I believe that i provide more to 5 man party then combat rogue since i help tank have better agro since they do more dmg and my stuns help healer save mana since not so much pressure on tank and not to forget imp sap that does its job.I can and often offtank with evasion/ghostly x2.
Looking class only tru perspective of dmg in this case is wrong. But at 40 man raids combat swords is still adn will be nbr1.

as alliance i love mm hunter/pala healer/warr tank since they give me sick amount of ap.

Hemo is actually great for PvE. The second you see a Rogue using Hemo, you can kick him and replace him with somebody playing a real spec. It's a wonderful filter, you see, just like seeing a Warrior using Deep Wounds in a raid.

At this gear level, hemo puts out similar damage to other specs. (It doesn't look like it, because all your damage is soaked up by other players.)

The reason it isn't passable is because there's 8 debuff slots, so in a 40-man setting your shit is going to be pushed off by improved shadowbolt or whatever.

reading rogue threads give my anus a hemo.
