Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I am wondering which horde race people tend to prefer for rogues. I think the answer is Undead, but I want to hear other opinions.

Depends on what you want, PvP = Undead, PvE = Orc, the troll racial might be better towards endgame, I must admit I havent done the math there.

Patch 1.4.0 (2005-05-05): Now increases base melee attack power by 25% for 15 seconds. When it fades base melee attack power is reduced by 25% for 45 seconds.

I'm puzzled, is the drawback of Blood Fury a base melee attack power reduction or a healing reduction ? Or both ?
Cause if there is also an AP reduction, then BF is no match to the Troll racial. Which is anyway probably better after some point thanks to its scaling.

DPS-wise Troll wins, but i think at least 50% or more will be UD, as it always been. Male orc and both male/female troll looks horrible in most peoples eyes and a lot of people goes for looks over use.

Female orc in Bloodfang is quite damn hot though, grrr!

Since I will focus more on PvE than PvP, I think I will go Troll again like I did on TR.

UD masterrace

On a quick sidenote, orc racial bloodfury only increases your BASE attack power by 25% not your overall AP like most shitty private servers so it's not really that good, the 25% is always op in pvp if you wanna look like a bloated bum I guess, but UD will forever be the masterrace, and honestly if you want to PVE go human and win all the dps with swords T1-T3 all boss EZ mode and benefit from actual reliable buffs like Kings+BoM>>WFderp

If I were going Alliance, then I would definitely choose Human. But I really want to play Horde

Will of the Forsaken is a really good racial also for PVE

Best bet is to roll whichever race you like the best. None of the racial traits are game-breaking. A little skill will easily counter any advantage that may be gained from racial abilities.

Mine will be Undead. They look good in leather, while dual wielding, and get to eat corpses. I don't pick any race based on racials. I generally favor Undead, they are my style. If you like other races, go with those instead. My second favorite race is Orc, which will see use on other classes. I don't prefer Orc in cloth/leather, as I find they are too buff to wear such weak looking armor. Shaman/Hunter start with leather, but eventually get mail, which will then be fitting as Orc. So between the 2 of them, they can cover most classes for me. Other players like Tauren or Trolls, if you like those, play them. Tauren can't be Rogue, but makes a great choice for other classes.
