Hi there, I just got to level 10 and was looking for a list of rare pets from vanilla.. can't seem to find one at all.
Would anyone be able to tell me what rare pets there are, anywhere on the map, that are around my level and I could get? Or just a list of rare pets in general would be great, that involves their name, level, and zone. I've tried looking around and just can't find a list that is only for vanilla..

You have 3 stable slots, and there are 2 musthave rare pets for endgame.
Broken Tooth, lvl37 rare cat in Badlands, 1.0 attack speed, highest pure dps in pve, absurdly op in pvp with insane pushback vs casters. Pure imba both for PvP and PvE.
Lupos, lvl23 rare wolf in Duskwood, 2.0 attack speed, he deals shadow orange damage instead of physical. Although his special is bugged on this server (his attacks don't ignore armor and don't receive benefits from +shadow damage debuffs), Lupos is still the best pet for PvE encounters, where pets can't do damage because of high risk, and Furious Howl means a lot if you use it properly. Waiting the fix, if you read this please support Lupos artifact on Nostalrius Bugtracker, because it seems that admins just don't give a shit about Lupos.
3'd slot
First of all you'll need to tame some various pets in this slot to learn all highest rank abilities. (Wintersping owl, lbrs wolfs, scorpids from silithus, and etc.) You may abandon all these pets after you learn their abilitites.
And what about the main 3'd pet?
Good options are:
-Death Flayer, lvl11 rare scorpid, (unique 1.6 attack speed in scorpid family, all others have 2.0). The best option if you're planning serious PvP, where Viper Sting protection is very important, esp if you're playing Horde character.
-Spiteflayer, lvl52 rare carrion bird (1.2 attack speed, LOL) Intresting alternative to Broken Tooth, this bird ROCKS. Claw, bite, dive, AND Screech (-100 melee attack power debuff) make this pet a very good in PvP. Still, 1.0 attack speed > 1.2 attack speed + screech.
-Wind Serpent from ZG. That will be the best PvE pet soon if admins won't fix Lupos, because highest rank of Lightning Breath does VERY nice damage, and that pet can dps safely from the distance (20y). Unable to tame yet.
