Hello and thank you for looking at my post!
My buddy and I are rerolling on the PvE server and we intend on dedicating a lot of time to instanced PvP in our climb. He's planning on rolling a rogue and I'm torn between a few classes. One class that I'm considering would be a Hunter for the midfield control. I'd plan on putting most of my points into SV for goodies like Improved Wingclip and Entrapment to help me kite rogues and keep the EFC moving as slowly as possible to give my team time to react.
My primary question is how durable are Hunters without a dedicated healer, particularly in the 15-40ish range. I'll be playing a Dwarf, so I'll have that added benefit against Rogues. Also, since I'd be focusing on control will I be sacrificing a lot of damage output potential?
Any other pointers you happen to be willing to share would be most appreciated.
