Spiteflayer real or myth?

Does anyone know his spawn timer or if he is even in the game? iv been in the blasted lands for about 10 hours and have not seen him once.

Probably gets killed instantly because of the bird quest. Worst rare spawn timer I've seen was 22 hours (Lupos back at launch), some got changed afterwards. No idea about this specific spawn.
