Level 19 Hunter twink guide?

Level 19 Hunter twink guide?

by kachomp » Sat Dec 05, 2015 10:01 pm

Hello, my friend and I are making level 19 hunter twinks and her boyfriend is making a level 19 priest twink. I have already found all the bis items, but haven't been able to find a guide as to go about getting the gear needed in a manner to ensure that we don't go over level 19. This is the first time any of us are making twinks so any help would be appreciated.

I'm guessing using one of our mains to help each other out would be the best bet? Once again any constructive input would be appreciated.

Thank you!

just get a friend to start running the dungeons needed for the gear when you are level 10 on group loot and stay far back and don't get hit. don't start leveling past 10 (unless you get a few in the dungeons no biggy). If you need a quest reward do those quest only, and get an idea of what pet you want to have before you hit 19 so you can have/get it to 19. Also don't get any rested experience once you hit level 10 either, log out outside of towns and such.

Level 19 Hunter twink guide?

On live, I created a BIS level 10 Rogue which was a pain in the ass. Getting a 19 BIS is way easier.

That included two of the arena trinkets (the exp from that really wasn't that much) which I did first. Getting even one on this server would be a total nightmare I'd imagine (you have to loot 12 chests).

I then mapped out what areas I needed to quest in for BIS items (like areas around cities, dungeons, flight paths, blimps, pre-req quests) and got the exploration experience early (like level 2-5) to minimize experience at later levels.

This also included getting a lucky fishing hat. Although it is not in the game at the moment, at some point they will put it in and you'll want to get it. I strongly recommend using some of your early experience exploring some of STV so you can fish once the derby is implemented. If you don't, you won't be BIS later and I've known some people crazy enough to completely reroll because they didn't have it. Leave some cushion for the fish turn in experience. Not sure how much that is.

Do quests as early as you can possibly get them. For example, you are able to do the Wailing Cavern main quest at level 10.

As mentioned, have someone clear all the dungeon trash (and bosses that you don't need) before you even zone in. Repeat as necessary.
