My Hunter will hit 60 this weekend and i was wondering what the first big improvements to my gear are.
So far i'm not in a guild, so no raid loot in sight. Therefore going to get pre-raid BiS will be my first goal.
Spec will be MM/Surv Raid Spec (still BM so far, not very happy with it)
What are the biggest gear boosts in that department?
- Ive been trying to get the AV crossbow without luck the past days and will grind rep anyways, so maybe ill get lucky (or even better an LBRS grp und the 1% Crossbow)
- Devilsaur Set: Is this a valid option or will it get replaced by other pre-raid loot?
- PvP/Rep Gear will take time, so those are not immediate options
- doing 5/10-mans will be what im going to do for the next weeks, any dungeons to specifically aim for?
Another Question:
I know that Hunters are sought for in UBRS grps for the Drakkisath kiting, are there any other dungeons where i will be asked to do specific things? If yes, video tutorials would be greatly appreciated.

You'll want to hit up Dire Maul instances for Ogre forged hauberk, bracers of the eclipse, warpwood bindings, barbarous blade, tarnished elven rings.
Devilsaur set is a valid option but you probably have to get both pieces and prices are very high at this point, DM is easy enough to run for a good portion of your loot and hunters have some trap utility there.
You'll want to do a few quests chains to get Mark of fordring and blackhands breadth, easy enough to attain. Also buy a hunter DM book for that trinket.
Crossbow - Getting bloodseeker should be your priority for ranged weapon.

Devilsaur isn't as important anymore since the release of ZG. I don't know why its price is staying so high. Given how over camped and over priced it is, you may as well just skip it at this point. You also have PvP update, turning the rank items into fantastic level 60 gear.
